Violet was born in Missoula, MT
She came to California with her parents around 1925.
She was raised in Oakland, CA
Her first marriage was to Moral Gardner with whom they had one son who
is still living. The marriage ended with his tragic death in an accident
when he was working in Nevada City, CA
Her second marriage produced a daughter who was raised in San Leandro, CA
at 1960 Cleveland Avenue, where Violet lived until her death.
Her second marriage eventually ended in divorce.
She was an employee at Saylor's Candy Company where she was a Candy Maker.
She was cremated and is at Chapel of the Memories,
