| Born in San Bernardino, CA where she lived until her early teens. Madelyene was known as "Tiny" because she was very petite. Her family then moved to Oakland, CA where she attended Castlemont High School and met her husband. She was of Irish descent with blue eyes who married an Italian. |
| Her son looks like his father with the brown eyes and Italian features while their daughter looks like her with the blue eyes. She was active in her children's schools and was a member of the P.T.A. Each year on the children's birthdays she would bake a special cake for them and they would have their picture taken with it. From these pictures she made an album from the 1st birthday to the 21st birthday. It is really nice to see how they have changed each year and it shows how very special her children were to her. She loved Frank Sinatra and I'm told a story by her husband that when she and her husband went to see Sinatra, it was very warm and she passed out and chipped her two front teeth! But her daughter swears it was at a Dad's Club Dinner. When doing the book keeping for Camozzi Carpet, she was so precise that if they didn't balance for $.01, she would search until she found it to make everything balance perfectly. I only knew her for 18 months before she passed away, but she made me and my children feel very welcome to our "new family". She was loved, but most of all, she loved. |
